Assistant Editor

I served as the Assistant Editor at Hamptons-based publication, The Purist. I worked on editorial and advertorial content, managed the weekly newsletters, conducted photo research for the print publication, and managed the founder's and magazine's social media presence on Instagram.

2017 — Present

Writer

I have written for Hamptons-based wellness publication, The Purist, the Art, Literature, and Entertainment sections of School of the Art Institute of Chicago's award-winning newspaper, F Newsmagazine. I have also written for an India-based parenting magazine, ParentEdge.

2021-2022

Graduate Assistant

I was invited to work with the New Arts Journalism department's Graduate Director. I curated and ran the weekly newsletter, helped organize talks for the cohort from professionals in the field, ran the department's official social media handles, and organized social gatherings for the department.

Writing Tutor

I worked at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's Writing Center. I worked one-on-one with undergraduate and graduate students, helping them improve their writing practice.

2019 - 2020

Social Media Marketing Manager

From July 2019 through Sept 2020 I worked as the social media marketing manager for an Indian fashion brand, AdiValka. I managed their Instagram & Facebook accounts.
